We would like to thank all the helpers at the school disco, we couldn’t have
run it without you. A big thank you to our new members who came along
to our P.T.A. meeting on 6th Feb. If anyone else would like to join please
contact Gillian Geddes. As photocopying costs can be very expensive all
P.T.A. information will be communicated to parents via the school

has any questions and or suggestions for the P.T.A. please send them to
Gillian Geddes. We are planning a fantastic Summer Fayre with an

Next P.T.A. meeting
We will be starting our Lenten activities on Ash Wednesday, 5th March when we will be attending Mass in St. Josephs. Further details of our fundraising timetable will be issued shortly. This is always a highly successful period of fundraising for those less fortunate than ourselves. In the past few years we have been able to present cheques to various charities who have really appreciated our efforts at fundraising.
School will close Friday 4th April and re-open Tuesday 22nd April 2014
Thank you to our St. Blane’s helpers who have been very valuable supporting us over the years. Many of our trained helpers from last year have already offered to support us again, thank you. Helpers can support children in their learning, this can be adults modelling good reading, paired and shared reading in small groups and small group activities, number activities etc. It can be a very rewarding experience for both adult and child. If you feel you would like to help out in school please return the tear off slip below.
No experience is necessary as training will be given by Mrs Milne, PVG disclosure is necessary and this will be explained at training.
It is very important to note that the car park is for staff and visiting specialists only. Parents are not permitted to drive into or park in the school at any time unless they are dropping off or picking up a child for hospital/dental appointments etc during class time. In this instance they must use the small bay beside the gates.
